This documentary film is about the struggle of a native family of Oglala Sioux living on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation in South Dakota. The film centers around the life of Godfrey Chipps, a medicine man and fourth-generation descendent of Horn Chipp, the medicine man of Crazy Horse. Upon returning from prison where he was diagnosed with terminal cancer he sets himself the goal to heal his family and put order in their lives before he is moves on to the other side. It’s a film about life and death, dreams and the pursuit of happiness.
